Vendor Participation Rules
MN Events aims to create professionally managed marketplaces that benefit vendors, visitors, venues and participating brands. By booking a stall, the vendor agrees to follow the rules below.
Booking
Booking and Stall Allocation
- A stall is confirmed only after the required payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued by MN Events.
- Stall locations and numbers are allocated by MN Events based on event layout, product category, operational requirements and availability.
- Requests for a particular stall location may be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
- Vendors may not transfer, share, resell or sublet their stall without prior written approval from MN Events.
- Vendors must provide correct information about their brand, products and contact details during booking.
Products
Products and Categories
- Vendors may display and sell only the products approved at the time of booking.
- Additional product categories require prior approval from MN Events.
- Counterfeit, illegal, unsafe, expired, offensive or prohibited products are strictly not permitted.
- Alcohol, tobacco, medicines, fireworks, hazardous materials and other regulated products may not be displayed or sold without written approval and all legally required licences.
- Food vendors are responsible for maintaining valid FSSAI registration and any other permits required for preparing, serving or selling food.
- MN Events may restrict the number of vendors within the same product category to maintain a balanced event mix.
Operations
Stall Setup and Operations
- Vendors must report and complete their stall setup within the time communicated for the event.
- Stalls must remain open and properly staffed throughout the official event timings. Early closure or dismantling is not permitted without approval.
- All displays, banners, racks, lights and products must remain within the allocated stall area and must not block pathways, entrances or neighbouring stalls.
- Vendors must bring their own display materials unless tables, chairs, electricity or other facilities are specifically mentioned as part of the booking.
- Electrical equipment, extension boards and lighting must be safe and suitable for the venue. High-power equipment requires prior approval.
- Vendors must maintain cleanliness and dispose of packaging, food waste and other materials responsibly.
- Food vendors must follow proper hygiene, food-storage and waste-disposal practices.
Conduct
Conduct and Safety
- Vendors and their staff must behave professionally and respectfully with visitors, venue representatives, organisers and other vendors.
- Aggressive selling, misleading claims, excessive noise, obstruction of another stall or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the event.
- Vendors are responsible for the safety and security of their products, cash, equipment and personal belongings.
- Vendors are responsible for any loss, damage or injury caused by their products, equipment, staff or negligence.
- Children accompanying vendors must remain under adult supervision and must not disturb event operations.
- Vendors must comply with venue rules, fire-safety requirements, government regulations and instructions issued by the MN Events team.
Promotion
Sales and Promotion
- MN Events promotes its events through appropriate online and offline channels. However, visitor footfall, enquiries and vendor sales cannot be guaranteed.
- Vendors are encouraged to promote their participation through their own social-media pages and customer networks.
- MN Events may photograph or record the event for promotional, archival and marketing purposes. Vendors should inform the team in writing before the event if they have a specific concern.
Violation of Rules
MN Events may issue a warning, restrict participation, close a stall or remove a vendor where these rules, venue requirements or applicable laws are violated. Serious violations may result in cancellation without refund, subject to applicable law.
By confirming a stall booking, the vendor acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted these participation rules.
