For Vendors

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy

This policy applies to stall bookings made directly with MN Events unless different terms are clearly communicated for a specific event.

Cancellation

Vendor Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the official MN Events email address or WhatsApp number used for the booking.

Refund eligibility will be calculated from the date on which MN Events receives the written cancellation request.

  • Cancellation 5 or more calendar days before the event: 100% of the stall-booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation between 2 and 3 calendar days before the event: 75% of the stall-booking amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation 1 calendar day or fewer before the event: No refund will ordinarily be provided.
  • Failure to attend, late arrival or leaving the event early: No refund will be provided.

Payment-gateway charges, transaction fees and other amounts already paid to third parties may be deducted where permitted. Any applicable tax adjustment will be processed according to prevailing law.

Transfers

Booking Transfers

A vendor may request to transfer a booking to another MN Events event, subject to:

  • Availability at the requested event
  • Approval of the vendor's product category
  • Payment of any difference in stall price

Booking transfers are not automatic and may be permitted only after approval.

Event Cancellation

Event Cancellation by MN Events

If MN Events cancels an event and does not provide a suitable replacement date, the vendor may choose either:

  • A full credit of the amount paid towards another MN Events event; or
  • A refund of the amount paid for the cancelled event.

The refund will be processed using the original or mutually agreed payment method.

Postponement

Event Postponement or Material Change

If an event is postponed or its date or venue is materially changed, the vendor's booking will normally be transferred to the revised event.

If the vendor is unable to participate on the revised date, they must inform MN Events within three calendar days of receiving the change notification. MN Events will then offer an event credit or refund, depending on the circumstances and costs already incurred.

Minor changes to stall layout, event timing, access instructions or operational arrangements will not ordinarily be treated as event cancellation.

Force Majeure

Unavoidable Circumstances

Events may be affected by severe weather, government restrictions, venue closure, safety concerns, natural disasters, civil disturbance, public-health emergencies or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In such cases, MN Events will first attempt to reschedule the event or transfer the booking to another suitable event. Where this is not reasonably possible, the available refund or credit will be determined fairly after considering recoverable and non-recoverable event costs and applicable law.

Timeline

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will normally be initiated within 3–5 business days. The time taken for the amount to appear in the vendor's account may depend on the bank, payment gateway or original payment method.

Removal

Vendor Removal

A vendor removed for selling unauthorised or illegal products, violating safety requirements, misbehaving or seriously breaching the Vendor Participation Rules may not be eligible for a refund, subject to applicable law.

No Sales Guarantee

Stall charges cover participation space and the facilities specifically mentioned in the booking confirmation. MN Events does not guarantee visitor footfall, enquiries, revenue, profits or a particular level of sales.

By completing payment and confirming a stall, the vendor acknowledges that they have read and accepted this Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy.
